3D Members - Jackie Tivey

I rediscovered drama in the year 2000 when I joined an English speaking drama group in Munich, Germany. I appeared in four productions with them until 2004.

I enjoyed the experience so much I wanted to share it, so I ran a series of workshops for the secondary school pupils where I worked, which culminated in a musical production thoroughly enjoyed by all!

On my return to England I wanted to brush up on my signing and discovered 3D when I went to see their production of 1950's Secrets Silence Shame. They invited me to join them just as they were about to put on The Wizard of Oz in December 2007 and it was a great success.

So I am now enjoying drama again via a second language - signing - which is a whole new experience, and I feel privileged to work with and learn from such a talented group of people.
